Dr. Douglas Streifel
Optometrist

Dr. Streifel received his Doctorate of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. He completed internships at Sidney Hillman Hospital and Illinois Masonic Hospital, both located in Chicago. Dr. Streifel has been practicing throughout the Denver Metro area since 1997. In addition to his current private practice, he has practiced at Denver Health Medical Clinic's Eye Clinic and several locations in the metro area. He purchased Tooday Optical in September of 2000.

Dr. Streifel is highly recommended and he performs the latest in contact lens fitting, laser vision correction co-management, eye disease treatment and dry eye therapy. He is national board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease and is licensed to the highest level of certification in Colorado.

Dr. Streifel is originally from North Dakota. He attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis prior to his professional training in Chicago. He enjoys the outdoors, fishing of all kinds, skiing, and exercising.
